American Job Losses - Who Cares?
Story on NPR, Former S.C. Textile Workers Look for Ways to Cope, talks about Americans in South Carolina losing their jobs.
“Donnie Ingram will be out of work around the end of this month. He has been laid off by the South Carolina Company that he served for more than 30 years. He is spending the final days walking the floors of the massive textile mill — places like the sewing room and an area called the bleachery.”Complete story can be found –
“The machines inside are being moved to Brazil, he says.”

We protect our Ethanol from Brazilian Ethanol by placing a fifty cent a gallon tariff on the Brazilian Ethanol and giving our producers about a fifty cent tax credit per gallon.
Now why the hell can’t we protect our American Jobs?
All the politicians are talking about a stimulus package to head off a recession. Why not stop the flow of our jobs out to other countries all to line the pockets of fat-rich-don't-give-a-damn-about America CEOs?
Labels: American jobs, ethanol, recession

You commented on my blog about your water being contaminated with drilling chemicals. I live very near you. Is anyone reporting on this?
Please email me from the contact information on my blog. I'd like to blog about your problems. I have some media contacts that might be able to get you some help.
We need to document all these cases.
